About us
We are a team passionate about our homeland, with years walking every trail of the Callejón de Huaylas and Conchucos. Angeles Expediciones was born with a clear purpose: authentic, safe and environmentally respectful tourism that connects travelers from all over the world with the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Huayhuash.
Our founder
Saúl Ángeles Cruz was born and raised below the Cordillera Blanca. He walked the local trails long before turning that passion into his work and, after years of technical training and leading expeditions to the summits of the region, he founded the agency with one idea: to pass on to every visitor his respect for these mountains.
For him, a trip to Áncash should be more than a photo: a real connection with Andean culture and nature. Under his lead, the team shares a way of working built on safety, attention to detail and warmth.

Pioneers
«Pioneers in the Peruvian Andes» is our motto: classic routes and rarely visited valleys of the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash, from Santa Cruz to the full Yerupajá circuit.
Guides
We are from Huaraz and know every valley. We suggest the order of your hikes based on your days, from lower to higher, so you reach the lake or the summit well acclimatized.
Safety
At altitude the right call when someone shows altitude sickness symptoms is to go down: we never push for a lake or a summit. We stay on marked trails, leave no trash and deal fairly with the communities along the way.
